FARM NETWORKING

Telemetry

Telemetry is using a radio transmitter that can wirelessly communicate and transfer data between devices. HTM Complete can enhance time management by using a radio transmitter to expand your on-farm network. Having radios on-site facilitates data transmission through solar panel towers, enables communication between valves, and allows for monitoring of sensors and pumps. The collected information can then be analysed and used to optimise irrigation, manage chemical spraying, and improve crop harvesting, among other tasks. Wi-Fi further enhances this process by providing instant data and creating an internal on-site network, which can also be connected to the broader internet. By integrating Wi-Fi with radios, we can leverage security resources, such as multiple surveillance cameras, to monitor several areas simultaneously. With telemetry, you can manage your irrigation systems through automation and monitoring. This means that irrigators can have complete control via the farm management system from anywhere in the world, using a computer, mobile phone, or tablet. A dedicated PC serves as a central control system connected through radio telemetry to your on-site devices. You will have access to an easy-to-understand map of your property, where you can view data records and receive status updates on components such as probes, valves, sensors, and pumps.

Their hardware has been tested and developed since the mid-90s to endure harsh climates both in Australia and globally. HTM Complete have used WiSA hardware since 2005 for its reliability and endurance in field.

EnviroPRO

EnviroPRO is a high-performance multi-function subsurface probe that can monitor soil moisture, temperature, and salinity (EC - ‘Electrical Conductivity’) for all soil types. The new design has improved accuracy, and with sensors fitted every 10 cm, it gives a complete picture of the soil profile.

EnviroPRO Range:

Light version: 40 cm, 80 cm, 120 cm, and 160 cm EnviroPRO measuring soil moisture and soil temperature only.

EnviroSCAN

EnviroSCAN is a soil moisture probe that provides measurements at multiple depths and is Sentek's primary product range. Probes can measure depths from 0.5m to 30m. Sensors measure soil moisture, with optional salinity and/or temperature and access tube humidity. Sentek's latest product, the Drop & Drill soil moisture probe, is a completely sealed unit that can be buried underground, with the option to be connected to third-party devices.

Davis Weather Station The Davis Weather Station is a system with connectivity available via Wi-Fi or radio link and comes with an easy-to-use display screen. It can monitor weather conditions, including rainfall, wind speed, sunrise and sunset, humidity, heat index, and more. Adding the WeatherLink data logger allows you to store data even when it is not connected to your PC. Once downloaded, you can create graphs and generate summaries from the data provided. The Davis system allows an almost instant update on current weather conditions and graph data daily, weekly, or yearly. Pantech Weather Station The Pantech Weather Stations are very economical and designed to monitor accurate and reliable weather. It offers comprehensive weather measurements, including temperature, humidity, wind speed, and more.
